Conference capability in Lombok
Lombok is a mid-size conference destination and we position it honestly as one. There is no dedicated convention centre on the island, so events above roughly 800 delegates need either a multi-property split or a different destination. Within that ceiling the island performs well, particularly for regional sales conferences and partner summits where an exclusive setting matters more than raw hall capacity.
The island's positioning for MICE is exclusivity rather than capacity. Room inventory is a fraction of Bali's, so very large congresses do not fit, but a 200-delegate incentive can effectively take over a resort and its beach. Sasak culture is distinct from Balinese, the Gili islands are a 30-minute boat ride offshore, and the short hop from Denpasar makes Lombok an easy second leg on a Bali programme.

Conference venues in Lombok
Quoted capacities assume maximum density with no stage. We size against your real set, screens and egress.
- Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit Purpose-built racing circuit with paddock and hospitality structures usable for launches, track experiences and corporate events.
- Mandalika ITDC beachfront event grounds Managed open-air land within the special economic zone, suitable for marquee builds and large outdoor gala nights.
- Resort convention ballrooms, Mandalika and Senggigi Purpose-built hotel conference floors covering plenaries into the several hundreds, the island's main indoor capacity.
- Sade and Ende traditional Sasak villages Preserved settlements with thatched rice barns and hand-weaving; cultural visits and small welcome ceremonies.
- Gili Trawangan, Meno and Air Car-free offshore islands reached by fast boat; beach club buyouts and small-group island dining.
Delegate accommodation
Room-block strategy changes with group size - we will tell you when splitting across two properties is better than forcing one.
Mandalika beachfront resorts
Newer international-standard properties inside the managed ITDC zone with conference facilities and beach frontage.
Senggigi and west-coast established resorts
Longer-standing inventory on the sunset coast, close to Bali ferry links and the Gili departure points.
South-coast boutique and surf-lifestyle properties
Smaller room counts around Kuta and Tanjung Aan for younger, activity-led incentive audiences.
Gili island beach retreats
Low-density, car-free accommodation for short exclusive extensions and top-tier reward layers.
Conference dinner and offsite options
The evening programme is part of the same run of show, not an afterthought.
- Beach marquee gala on Mandalika-zone sand with full production and fire staging
- Pit lane and paddock dinner at the Mandalika circuit for launches and awards nights
- Sunset headland dinner above Tanjung Aan with the group holding the entire promontory
- Gili island beach club buyout with fast-boat transfer and a return night crossing
Delegate movement and logistics
- Transfers from LOP are short and reliable, but the Praya to Senggigi leg crosses the island and needs a full 70 minutes
- Gili and offshore charters are weather-dependent; we hold a land-based alternate and confirm sailing by 06:00 on the day
- Specialist AV, production crew and premium F&B supply is often brought from Bali, so lead times run longer than on the main island
- Resort inventory is limited relative to demand in peak dry season; we advise contracting room blocks nine to twelve months ahead
How we work
Conference planning in Lombok is handled by the same team that runs the event on site. You get one project lead from feasibility through to the post-event reconciliation, not a handover from sales to operations.
