About us
One destination management company, two countries
24 A-One Ventures exists because the two countries most often paired in a Southeast Asian corporate programme are almost never handled properly by the same agency.
Why we are set up this way
A regional sales conference in Bangkok followed by a reward trip in Bali is an ordinary shape for a Southeast Asian incentive programme. Handled by two separate agencies it becomes two briefings, two contracts, two invoicing cycles and two sets of assumptions about who booked the airport transfer. The delegate never sees the seam, but the planner spends the whole programme managing it.
We built 24 A-One Ventures to remove that seam. One contract, one project lead, one reconciliation - across sixteen destinations in Indonesia and Thailand.
How we operate
We keep operational staff in Bangkok and Bali, the two cities where our volume justifies a permanent team. In the other fourteen destinations we work through directly contracted partners - named individuals we have worked with repeatedly, not a booking portal. The distinction matters most at 22:00 on a Saturday, when the person you reach already knows your programme.
Our technical production is held in-house for the core disciplines: audio, lighting, LED and vision. Most destination management companies broker this to a rental house and add a margin. We would rather the person operating the desk had been in the planning call.
What we will tell you honestly
Not every destination suits every programme, and the fastest way to lose a client is to say yes to the wrong one. Labuan Bajo is exceptional for a hundred senior people and unsuitable for a thousand delegates. Koh Samui's airport has limited slots and premium fares that can quietly consume the saving you made on the venue. Jakarta's traffic will shape your run of show whether or not you plan for it. Bintan and Khao Lak have no convention centre, and we say so on their pages rather than letting you discover it during a site inspection.
We would rather move you to the right destination at proposal stage than manage your expectations downward once contracts are signed.
Working with agencies
A good share of our work arrives through event agencies and production companies who own the client relationship and want a ground partner rather than a competitor. We are comfortable operating white-label - off the delegate-facing materials entirely, reporting to your producer rather than to your client. Say so at briefing stage and we will scope it that way.
How a programme runs
A brief becomes a written feasibility note within a couple of days: which destinations fit, roughly what each would cost, and what the constraints are. Once you choose a direction we build a line-item budget that separates net cost from our management fee, contract the venue, and hold a planning cadence through to delivery. On site you get a named project lead who does not also have three other groups that week. Afterwards you get a reconciliation and a written debrief that includes what we would change.
